What is a fast-acting antidepressant stimulus?

As stated, this quick article is about the effect itself, not pharmacological drugs per se. Those are all "quick fixes" that either pave the way to or bring solid, long-term results. Quite obviously, I wrote this for you (and others) to get something useful out of this - so bear with me and actually open your mind up for all the following options, even if you weren't previously open for them:

#1 Weight trainin

Antidepressant/anxiolytic response kicks in usually as soon as a first set of repetitions is finished (with high reps, explosive set / low reps at roughly 70% or more of maximum weight load).

#2 Meditation As soon as one disconnects from the mental source of the perceived problem, mood starts normalizing. Usually requires practice (if not done right it's just a boring waste of time).

#3 Dousing/quick cold showersA bit extreme for some, but has a very quick antidepressant/anxiolytic response.
